Conventional Three-Phase Decanters

Conventional three-phase decanters are always used when the flash point of the process product is significantly higher than the required process temperature:

  • single process separation of two liquid phases of differing densities and one solid phase
  • equipment is explosion protected
  • main area of deployment: petrochemical industry, e.g. processing of crude oil slack wax or of oily sludges
  • capacities of 3 to 8 m³/hr
