The chamber filter press is still alive!

During the last years we focussed on the construction of membrane filter presses and decanters. Now we added a new mobile chamber filter press to our machinery. The new plant restores filter press number 14 which was put out of service last year. Press no 14 new has a filter area of 180 m² and a volume of 1.6 m³ per batch. To discharge the filter cake the unit carries a truck-mounted forklift.

The feeding pump is a special construction, developed in cooperation between the manu-facturer and FILTRATEC and fits especially for mobile applications on a truck.

Concerning the construction of the truck itself all features invented for the new membrane filter press no 20 were followed. Application area for the new chamber filter press is the mobile day-to-day business around the European industry. Also this unit possesses a declaration of conformity (CE-sign). Launching this new filter press FILTRATEC currently operates 45 dewatering units.
